Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paul Gascoigne has told BetStars that Spurs could sell Harry Kane this summer – if they receive a bid of £100million.

The 24-year-old continues to be linked with a move to Europe’s heavyweights, with Spanish giants Real Madrid continually said to be interested in the goal machine after another impressive campaign with Spurs.

Kane notched an excellent 41 goals in just 48 league and cup encounters for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this summer, seven of which came in the Champions League in just seven games.

Gascoigne was asked about Kane’s future and he reckons that the England 2018 World Cup captain could be sold by chairman Daniel Levy, if Spurs receive a bid of around £100million.

“It’s player power now,” Gascoigne said. “If the money is right and Tottenham want to sell him, they will do. That’s the thing nowadays is players have too much power, with their agents.

“If a team comes in with £100million for Harry Kane, I don’t think Spurs will turn it down.”

If Spurs were to sell Kane for £100million, he would be only the fourth player to reach such a landmark following Neymar and Kylian Mbappe’s transfers to Paris Saint-Germain, along with Philippe Coutinho’s move to Barcelona.

A move away from Spurs this summer seems unlikely, though, with four years remaining on Kane’s contract at Tottenham and the striker seemingly loyal to the north Londoners.
