Newcastle United were beaten 1-0 by Blackburn Rovers in their most recent fixture.
Paul Dummett has told the Daily Mirror that Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez urged his team not to feel down after they were beaten by Blackburn Rovers in their most recent fixture.
Newcastle had raced into a lead at the top of the Championship table, and looked to be threatening to run away with the league title.
However, things have not gone according to plan for the Magpies in recent weeks, and they have now been overtaken by Brighton & Hove Albion.

Newcastle have lost four of their last eight Championship matches, and their latest defeat against Blackburn was particularly disheartening.
Despite dominating for much of the contest, Newcastle could not find a way to break through Rovers’ defence.
And they were made to pay for their lack of cutting edge, as Charlie Mulgrew fired in a winner for Blackburn late on.
Dummett admits that he was very frustrated after the match, but the defender says Benitez was positive in the dressing room.

“It’s very frustrating,” the left-back said. “The manager just said we’ve got to be positive, as we dominated the game.
“We’ve struggled a few times I think in a few of the games where we’ve had the same situation, and we just need to finish things off when we get the chances.”
Even after the defeat at Ewood Park, Newcastle are still stationed in second place in the Championship table – six points clear of Reading.
