Tom Pearce has joined Scunthorpe United on loan from Leeds United.

Leeds United-owned Bradford City central defender Paudie O’Connor has taken to Twitter to send a message to Tom Pearce.
As announced on Leeds’s official website on January transfer deadline day, Pearce has joined League One side Scunthorpe United on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old, who can operate as a left-back or as a left wing-back, will be looking to establish himself in the first team at Scunthorpe in the coming weeks and months.
According to WhoScored, the England Under-21 international made two substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds this season.
O’Connor himself is on loan at Bradford in League One, and the 21-year-old central defender has wished Pearce the best of luck, despite the two Leeds players now becoming rivals for the rest of the 2018-19 campaign.

While Scunthorpe are 14th in the League One table at the moment with 37 points from 30 matches, Bradford are currently fourth in the standings with 31 points from 30 games.
