Glasgow Rangers forward Joe Dodoo is enjoying a decent spell away from Ibrox, and has been praised by his teammate.

Rangers loanee Joe Dodoo is the best finisher in the Blackpool squad according to the Gers ace’s current teammate Paudie O’Connor who was speaking to the club’s official website.

Dodoo is currently doing his chances of salvaging his Rangers career absolutely no harm at all. The 23-year-old won the player and goal of the month awards for November, having scored four goals in his last seven appearances.

His form has helped the League One side put together a great run of form, having lost just one of their previous eight fixtures, winning six in that time.

And when asked about his teammates, the Leeds-owned youngster was full of praise for the Rangers forward when asked to name the best finisher at the club.

Blackpool's Joe Dodoo scores the opening goal during the Sky Bet Championship match between Exeter City and Blackpool at St James Park on November 10, 2018 in Exeter, England.

“Joe Dodoo is scoring a lot of goals in training, so it would probably be between himself and Armand Gnanduillet,” he told the club’s official website.

It is going to take a remarkable run of form between now and the end of his loan spell for Dodoo to return in a significantly better position in the Ibrox pecking order than he was in when he left in the summer.

But he has shown with his recent form that he has the potential to achieve the kind of tally out on loan that will make Rangers boss Steven Gerrard sit up and take notice ahead of next season. So writing him off turning his Gers career around is surely premature at this stage.
