Defender O’Connor was loaned out by Leeds in the summer.

Paudie O’Connor has sent a heartfelt message to Blackpool fans on Twitter after the defender’s loan spell with the League One club expired this month – and he returned to Leeds United.
The 21-year-old centre-back made 17 appearances in all competitions for The Tangerines, helping his side keep three clean sheets as well as scoring goals against Arsenal and Macclesfield Town.
O’Connor was sent out on loan by Leeds with the likes of Liam Cooper, Pontus Jansson, Gaetano Berardi and Luke Ayling all above him in the pecking order. Aapo Halme has also come to the fore of late.
O’Connor sent a message to Blackpool fans on Twitter after his loan side confirmed that the defender had returned to the Championship league leaders – with another loan move expected to materialise this month.
Leeds United have confirmed that the defender is to be immediately loaned to Blackpool’s League One rivals Bradford City, who instead of sitting in a comfortable 11th place, are fighting against relegation in 22nd.
The versatile Irishman made four senior appearances during the second half of last season under Paul Heckingbottom, who was replaced by Marcelo Bielsa in the summer.
