The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will wear special “USA 250” patches during Super Bowl LX as the NFL marks the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will wear the commemorative patches as part of a league-wide initiative taking place throughout 2026.

The NFL has already introduced USA 250 branding across several major events this season, and this is the latest move in their efforts.

USA 250 patches to feature at Super Bowl LX

The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will each wear “USA 250” patches on their jerseys during Super Bowl LX.

The patches are designed to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States and will be visible throughout the game.

Super Bowl LX represents the highest profile stage yet for the NFL’s USA 250 initiative, which has involved the insignia being present on game balls and beyond.

NFL expands America 250 celebrations across 2026 season

The NFL has already incorporated USA 250 branding into sidelines, game balls, and coin tosses during the 2026 season.

The league has confirmed the commemorations will continue at the NFL Draft later this year, which is set to take place in April.

The Super Bowl patches form part of a broader league effort to recognize the anniversary across major events.

Much like the UFC, who are celebrating America 250 with a White House event, the NFL are attempting to celebrate the landmark in their own way.
