Manchester City-owned winger Patrick Roberts is delighted to have played for Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic against Hamilton Academical on Friday evening.

Patrick Roberts has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at playing for Celtic on Friday evening.
Roberts played his first game for Celtic since joining the Glasgow giants on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old winger started the Scottish Premiership match against Hamilton Academical away from home at the SuperSeal Stadium in Hamilton.

The England Under-20 international was the star of the show for the Hoops, who eased to a comfortable 4-1 victory.
The youngster initially had an 18-month loan spell at Celtic before returning to his parent club City at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
Roberts was delighted to have returned to Celtic and posted the following message on Twitter after playing for the Hoops against Hamilton, summing up his feelings about the Glasgow giants in five words.

Celtic were superb against Hamilton and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
Brendan Rodgers’s side are now at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with 13 points from five matches.
