Celtic play Barcelona at Celtic Park in the Champions League in three weeks.
Celtic winger Patrick Roberts has told the Daily Mail that they will head into their clash with Barcelona in a positive mood.
The Hoops currently find themselves bottom of their Champions League group after their draw with Borussia Monchengladbach on Tuesday evening.
Brendan Rodgers’ side had battled back from a goal down in Germany but could not find a winner against Andre Schubert’s team.
It means the Bhoys have picked up just two points from their first four games in Group C and must now secure a positive result against leaders Barcelona to try to ensure at least third place.
Few give them a chance of beating the La Liga giants but Roberts says they will host them at Celtic Park full of confidence.
“You know what happened when Barcelona came to Celtic Park before so anything is possible. We’ll go into that game positive just like this one and hopeful to get another result,” he told the Daily Mail.
It remains to be seen if Celtic can secure a surprise result when they take on Barcelona in three week’s time.
If they are to do so they will likely need to recreate the performance they put in during the 3-3 draw against Manchester City back in September.
For now, Celtic’s attention must be firmly on continuing their strong start to the Scottish Premiership season when they host Inverness Caledonian Thistle this weekend.
