The winger is currently on loan at Celtic from Manchester City.
Patrick Roberts celebrates after scoring
Celtic winger Patrick Roberts has admitted to the Daily Mail he does not know whether he will remain at the club long-term.
Roberts joined the club in January last season on a one and a half year loan deal from Manchester City.
He has firmly established himself in the first team setup during that time, playing a big role under both Ronny Deila and Brendan Rodgers.
The Hoops are likely to want to keep the highly rated youngster on a permanent deal next summer when that loan spell comes to an end but Roberts says he does not know what the future holds.
“I don’t know what will happen,” he told the Daily Mail.
“I’ll just have to finish the season and win and play as much as I can and enjoy my football. The next season will take care of itself.”

It would probably be in Roberts best interests to seek a permanent move to Celtic, or elsewhere, at the end of the season.
He is unlikely to break through at Manchester City, especially given the money they paid to sign Leroy Sane in his position this summer.
The first team football he has enjoyed at Celtic Park has been crucial to his aiding his development and losing that would only do more harm than good at this moment in time.
At the same time, the chance to work with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad will be a tempting one and it will be interesting to see what decision Roberts makes.
