Leeds have been targeting a striker all summer, and Bamford is the latest name to emerge on their wishlist.
Bamford’s talents may have come to the attention of Leeds last season, when he hit a hat-trick against them.
Leeds were beaten 3-0 by Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium in March, and on that occasion Bamford ripped them to shreds.
It shows what a talent the 24-year-old can be on his day, and Leeds’ defence will know all about his qualities.
Whether Leeds will be able to get a deal over the line for the forward remains to be seen.
But if Bamford does sign at Elland Road this summer it would be an extremely impressive coup for Bielsa’s side.
