Leeds United have clinched the signing of Patrick Bamford from Middlesbrough.

Leeds United announced the signing of Patrick Bamford last night, doing so with a video package showcasing the striker’s arrival.
Upon clinching his transfer, Bamford sent a message on Twitter to Middlesbrough fans.
He thanked them for their support through his highs and lows at the club, which included one season on loan before arriving permanently.
He was signed for Boro by Victor Orta, current Leeds director of football.
Bamford’s message elicited a mixed reaction from supporters, who wished him well, even if he is joining a Championship rival.
Bamford is clearly held in very high regard by Boro fans and there is clear concern that selling him could be a decision the club regret.
The striker was not in Tony Pulis’ plans as manager this season and it was pragmatic to cash in.
Bamford will be doing his best to show Pulis he made a mistake.
