Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to reported Spurs target Patrick Bamford signing a new contract with Leeds United.
What’s the story?
Leeds announced on their official website yesterday that Bamford has put pen to paper on a new contract.
The 27-year-old English striker will now stay at the Premier League club until the summer of 2026.

The Telegraph reported earlier this week that Tottenham are interested in signing Bamford from Premier League rivals Leeds in the summer transfer window.
Spurs have reportedly been looking at Bamford to support their star striker Harry Kane.
What are Tottenham Hotspur fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Tottenham fans are a bit disappointed that Bamford has signed a new deal with Leeds.
Well, some of them anyway.
Others are not that bothered.
Bamford had a wonderful campaign for Leeds in the Premier League last season.
The English striker scored 17 goals and gave seven assists in 37 Premier League starts for Marcelo Bielsa’s side last season.
Bamford scored 16 goals and provided two assists in 43 Championship starts for the Whites in 2019-20.
It was always unlikely that Leeds would sell Bamford in the summer transfer window.
