Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has netted four goals already this term for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Patrick Bamford has told the Yorkshire Evening Post that Leeds United is the perfect club.
Bamford moved to Leeds last summer for £10 million (BBC Sport) and his time at Elland Road has not always been easy.
Bamford struggled to score the goals expected of him last term, and was guilty of missing too many chances.
There has been times when the Leeds striker has been criticised for his performances.
However, Bamford has started the new season in excellent form – netting four goals already.
And when asked whether he could see himself staying at Leeds for many years yet, Bamford said: “I don’t see why not.
“Being so settled is nice. It is something that I had always wanted, I had always wanted to be the main No 9 somewhere, to get that chance and to get settled and it’s a nice place to settle in to be honest.
“I live just outside the city, 20 minutes to get into town, I like living in the countryside, the people at the club are brilliant and the fans are brilliant.
“It’s the perfect club, it’s got everything.”
Bamford comments serve as a boost to Leeds, as he is such a pivotal part of Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Leeds have lost key players in the past, but Bamford seems committed to sticking around.
Bamford has won the trust of Bielsa, and he remains their first choice striker, despite Eddie Nketiah’s arrival over the summer.
Leeds are next in action after the international break, when they take on Barnsley.
