
Arsenal’s U23s were fantastic on Friday evening. They beat Brighton 3-0 and a number of the club’s young talents shone through.
Charlie Patino was fantastic as ever, while Folarin Balogun netted a brace against the Seagulls.
However, the one player who caught the eye more than any other was M’hand Salah-Eddine.
The Dutch midfielder netted a goal and played a blinder for the U23s, putting in a mature and composed performance.
Salah-Eddine joined Arsenal last summer, but he had an injury-plagued first year with the Gunners, leading to a lack of opportunities in the U23s.
However, the youngster is now making up for lost time and he’s catching the eye of the fanbase.
One fan even claimed that he’s better than Patino, and that’s high praise considering Patino has been described as the best player to ever come through the Hale End academy.
