WWE have decided to celebrate the 2026 World Cup by selling a ‘WWE x FIFA World Cup 2026 Legacy Championship Replica Title Belt’.
It is not uncommon for the company to produce custom belts for other sports, including soccer, the NFL and the NBA.
But their World Cup belt has drawn the ire of a number of fans online after an image and the price was shared on social media.

Fans do not like WWE’s FIFA World Cup belt
At the time of writing, the belt is listed for sale on WWE Shop for $549.99.
The centre of the belt features an image of the World Cup trophy, while the side plates include a multicoloured image of the world.
It remains to be seen who will want to buy it, though, as the fan reaction to the belt online has been pretty negative.
One fan wrote: “That’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my entire lifetime.”
A second claimed: “This is the most pathetic thing I’ve seen from WWE all year.”
Another asked: “Who’s buying this?????”
A fourth commented: “‘Give me more money you peasants’ – WWE probably.”
“They’re not even trying anymore; they just slap on a JPEG and call it limited edition,” added another.
A sixth fan tweeted: “I’ve seen some forced marketing plays by WWE, but this is just awful in every way possible.”
While another suggested: “I just have to say this for everyone: no one is buying this.”
But despite the high price tag, it is actually cheaper than some other replica belts for sale on WWE Shop.
The ‘Undisputed WWE Championship Replica Title Belt’ costs $599.99, while if you were to purchase the ‘Jalen Brunson King of New York World Heavyweight Championship Replica Title Belt’, that would set you back $699.99.
