Celtic striker Moussa Dembele scored twice against Hibernian in the Scottish League Cup this afternoon.

Celtic took on the Scottish Premiership rivals Hibernian in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup this afternoon.
French striker Dembele did not start the match, but the 21-year-old came on a substitute just past hour mark in place of Leigh Griffiths.

The former Fulham youngster played an important role for the Hoops, as he scored twice after coming on to help Brendan Rodgers’s side to a 4-2 win and take them to the final of the Scottish League Cup.
Celtic legend Bonner was pleased for Dembele, but the former Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper has admitted that he was surprised that Rodgers did not include him in the starting lineup against Hibs.

“I was surprised that Dembele didn’t start the game today, but those goals will do him the power of good,” Bonner told BBC Sport (14:06).
Over the course of the 90 minutes on Saturday afternoon, Celtic had 56% of the possession, took 17 shots of which eight were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.
