The performance of the Scotland international was brilliant, and former Celtic goalkeeper Bonner was impressed.

Bonner told BBC Sport: “Scott Brown was sensational tonight. He played higher up the pitch than usual and he was full of energy, full of running. He kept showing for the ball and it rubs off on the rest of the team.”
