Pat Bonner has praised Celtic for their win against Hamilton Academical away from home at the Hope CBD Stadium in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon, as quoted on BBC Sport.

Celtic returned to winning ways in the league with a comfortable 3-0 win against Hamilton.

Ryan Christie put the Hoops in the lead in the 13th minute, and an own goal from Scott Martin made it 2-0 to Brendan Rodgers’s side.

Scotland international striker Leigh Griffiths scored from a direct free kick in the 82nd minute.

Celtic legend Bonner was following the match, and the former Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper was pleased to see the Hoops bag all three points.

Bonner told BBC Sport: “They’ll be delighted to get away from this pitch with the three points. A decent display, shut-out again.

“Three goals keeps that confidence high. Job done, I’m sure that’s what Brendan Rodgers will say to his Celtic players.”
