Odsonne Edouard was on the scoresheet once again for Celtic at the weekend.

BBC Sport pundit Pat Bonner has praised the ‘sublime’ Odsonne Edouard after he helped Celtic avoid a scare against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
To the surprise of the Parkhead faithful, Eamonn Brophy opened the scoring for Killie when his deflected shot found its way past Fraser Forster in between the sticks.
But Kilmarnock’s lead didn’t last long because Edouard levelled the scores 11 minutes later before he added his second after the break, with Ryan Christie also chipping in with a goal.
Speaking to Sportsround on BBC Radio Scotland (22/09/2019), Bonner credited Edouard for showing his worth in front of goal once again.
“The two goals, the two finishes from Edouard was sublime,” Bonner told Sportsround. “The first one clinical. Six or seven yards out, good contact with the header, which was bulleted past the goalkeeper.
“And the second one, it was good movement, a nice run into the box, it was almost like he bent his run in there and when he got into that area, he hit the target again, which all good strikers do. It’s been a good day for him.”

It has been a pretty strong start to the season for Edouard, who has found the back of the net on seven occasions in all competitions [transfermarkt]. Added with that, he has provided his teammates with five assists.
Celtic have a busy schedule ahead of them, so it remains to be seen whether Neil Lennon will rest one of his key players ahead of their next clash.
The Bhoys will take on Partick Thistle in the League Cup, with games in the Scottish Premiership and the Europa League also coming up in these coming few weeks.
