Timothy Weah joined Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.

Pat Bonner has praised Paris Saint-Germain-owned Celtic striker Timothy Weah on BBC Sport.
The former Celtic and Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper was impressed with the performance of Weah during the Hoops’ 2-0 win against St Johnstone away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
The 18-year-old USA international – who joined Celtic on loan from PSG in the January transfer window – scored the second goal for the Glasgow giants in the 89th minute.
According to WhoScored, the teenager has made one start and three substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic, scoring two goals in the process.
Celtic legend Bonner was following the match on Sunday afternoon, and he was impressed with Weah.

Bonner told BBC Sport about Weah: “Weah is lively and sharp coming off the bench and he’s already got a few goals. He’s made a real impact since coming in from Paris St-Germain.”
The win against St Johnstone means that Celtic remain at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with 54 points from 24 matches, six points clear of second-placed and bitter Old Firm rivals Rangers.
Celtic will take on Hibernian at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday evening.
