Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have won against Rosenborg in the Europa League.

Celtic have kicked off their Europa League campaign on a positive note, as the Bhoys have got the better of Rosenborg 1-0 at home in Group B.
The Glasgow giants scored the only goal of the match at Celtic Park through Scotland international striker Leigh Griffiths in the 87th minute.
Celtic legend and former Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper Pat Bonner was following the match, and he was pleased to see Brendan Rodgers’s side pick up all three points from the encounter.
Bonner told BBC Sport (21:50): “Three points will be huge for Celtic’s confidence. They know they are a good team but they haven’t quite being doing it this season.”
Meanwhile, former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the win for the Hoops.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Celtic Park on Thursday evening, hosts Celtic had 65% of the possession, took 13 shots of which seven were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.
