Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur will host La Liga champions Barcelona at Wembley in Wednesday’s massive Champions League clash.

We are only in October but Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona have both endured a so-called ‘crisis’ already.
Spurs lost three games in a row under Mauricio Pochettino for the first time recently but have found form again of late, beating Brighton and Huddersfield Town in their last two Premier League games.
So the North London giants will be heading into Wembley’s crunch Champions League clash with Barca on Wednesday with renewed confidence.
In stark contrast, the Catalan powerhouses have failed to win in any of their last three games with home draws against Girona and Athletic Club flanking a dreadful 2-1 reverse at Leganes.
And former Tottenham defender Pascal Chimbonda believes it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Pochettino and co will be celebrating at full-time, particularly if they impose their style on Ernesto Valverde’s style.
“I think at the moment Barcelona is not in good shape,” the one-time Wigan and Sunderland right-back told Jim White on talkSPORT (2 October, 11.30am).

“Spurs have two wins in a row and they’re playing at home. Anything is possible in football and if they play with heart, with their football they can do something.
“But it’s always Barcelona. Its 50-50.”
Spurs beat another La Liga giant in Real Madrid at Wembley a year ago, with Dele Alli scoring twice in a famous 3-1 win. But the England midfielder, like Hugo Lloris, will be missing against Barca with Christian Eriksen, Mousa Dembele and Jan Vertonghen all doubtful.
