Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers scored twice in the last minutes to beat Partick Thistle.
Partick boss Alan Archibald appears to have taken a dig at Glasgow Rangers’ tactics during the second-half of their match on Sunday, through his comments to the Brechin Advertiser.
Rangers came from behind to beat Partick 2-1 at Firhill in their most recent contest.
However, Archibald has suggested that there was nothing clever in Pedro Caixinha’s tactics, which helped his side get back into the game.
“I thought we were comfortable,” Archibald said. “Rangers made a number of changes in the second half, but all they did was throw more bodies forward and we dealt with that.”
Caixinha has had a habit of making wholesale changes at half-time since taking over at Rangers.
It took a while for the alterations to make an impact at Partick, but Rangers did enough to get the win in the end.
The Light Blues had fallen behind when Kris Doolan hit the back of the net early on, but late strikes from Barrie McKay and Joe Garner ensured that Rangers picked up the three points.
Rangers’ victory over Partick has provided some much needed positivity for the Ibrox side, after two damaging defeats to Celtic.
Rangers are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Hearts.
