Arsenal face Tottenham on Saturday in the first north London derby of the season.

Ray Parlour has told Ask Fans that he believes Tottenham Hotspur are a better side than bitter north London rivals Arsenal ahead of Saturday’s rival clash.
Tottenham face the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off, as they sit in third place and four points above Parlour’s former side, who are in a lowly sixth.

Spurs finished above Arsenal for the first time in 22 years last season, as they secured second place behind Chelsea while Arsenal could only muster a disappointing fifth place.
Gunners icon and now radio pundit Parlour delivered his verdict on the two sides ahead of the all-important clash, as well as heaping praise on Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino for the work he has done.
“It does hurt, I must admit. I have lots of people ask me ‘Who is the best side, Tottenham or Arsenal?’ and I have to say the league doesn’t lie,” Parlour admitted.
“Tottenham came above Arsenal last season so they are better – simple. It does hurt as it’s been a long time since that happened. They have got a really good squad, an excellent manager in Pochettino and they are great to watch.”

Spurs have lost just once in their last seven league and cup outings against the Gunners, with the two sides last meeting back in April which resulted in a 2-0 win for Tottenham thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
Three points for Pochettino’s men on Saturday could see them leapfrog Man United into second if Jose Mourinho’s side fail to beat Newcastle at Old Trafford. They could also close the gap on Man City to five points, if City lose to Leicester City.
