After months of being on the verge, Alan Pardew’s time at Crystal Palace may finally come to an end over the festive period.
Crystal Palace have been on the edge of disaster for a long time now, and alot of that can be put down to Alan Pardew.
Whilst the fan favourite has certainly had his high points as manager at Selhurst Park, fans have consistently been calling for his head following a number of separate bad runs.
The Englishman always seems to pick up a win or two in order to delay the inevitable for a few more weeks, but with some huge fixtures coming up it may not be possible any more for good old Pards to avoid the sack hammer.

Following on from a hard fought, late equaliser against relegation threatened Hull, things are only going to get tougher for Palace.
There’s back to back home games against giants Manchester United and Chelsea, which will truly be the ultimate test of their capabilities.

With two tough games within a few days of each other, Pardew then has further London derbies against Watford and Arsenal are to follow.
It’s not impossible for them to turn things round again, but considering the quality of opposition they are set to face it is certainly looking bleak for the Eagles. One of the big shining lights for the club is that Pardew does indeed have that experience factor behind him. As many have known for a long time that overconfidence has grown into quite the curse for the former Newcastle boss, but sometimes it can be the equivalent of a get out of jail free card.
Who knows where this crazy journey will end up, but one thing is for sure – Palace need to wake up.
