Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported by The Times that Harry Winks is looking to leave the club on loan in January.

Winks hasn’t had the best of seasons so far at Tottenham. He’s yet to start a single game in the league, appearing just twice from the bench, and it seems as though he’s fallen way down the pecking order.

The midfielder is now reportedly looking to move away from Spurs on a temporary basis, with the England international reportedly open to joining a foreign side if he has to.

Understandably, this has gotten the Tottenham fanbase talking and it seems as though fans are hoping to see Winks move elsewhere.

To be honest, we can understand why. Winks isn’t getting much of a chance right now and he’s taking up valuable space on the club’s wage bill.

Who knows, a loan move could be the making of Winks, just look at someone like Jesse Lingard, his move to West Ham last January reinvigorated his career and there’s reason to believe that Winks could follow in his footsteps.

Let’s not forget, Winks is a talented footballer. He’s played for England and started in a Champions League final.

Here’s what Tottenham supporters have been saying about this rumour on social media…
