Tottenham Hotspur fans are urging the club to push through with their interest in Marcel Sabitzer now.
The Athletic report that the Red Bull Leipzig midfielder could be signed for just £12 million this summer.
That presents Tottenham with the chance to land the attacking midfielder at a significantly discounted price.
And Spurs fans are urging Daniel Levy to make a move for the club’s long-term target sooner rather than later.
Huge bargain
Tottenham fans are correct, at the price Sabitzer is reportedly available for he looks one of the biggest bargains on the market right now.
Spurs are unlikely to be making any transfer plans without their manager in place, though.
Tottenham do seem to be closing in on Paulo Fonseca, and once that deal is over the line, he may well be offered Sabitzer, as the Austrian is a player who Spurs have tracked for some time.
The question for Fonseca is whether Sabitzer presents a necessary purchase or one which would just bloat their squad.
Tottenham do have Dele Alli, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele, who can all play in the attacking midfield slots, which means that they are actually quite well stocked in Sabitzer’s preferred role.
