Some Tottenham fans on social media are over the moon after it was reported that they’re chasing a loan deal to bring Miralem Pjanic to north London.
It doesn’t take a genius to understand why Spurs fans are so excited about the idea of bringing Pjanic in.
The Bosnian is one of the Europe’s top midfielders. He’s played for Barcelona, Juventus and Roma in his career, and he’s been capped 100-times for his country.
He’s a player Fabio Paratici knows very well from his time at Juventus, and it seems as though Spurs’ new Sporting Director is keen to reunite with the midfielder, albeit on a temporary basis.
Signing any player on loan from Barcelona is exciting, but when it’s a player the calibre of Pjanic it’s easy to see why Spurs fans have been getting carried away.
Fingers crossed Spurs can get this one over the line and we finally get to see Pjanic strut his stuff in the Premier League.
