Quite a few Tottenham Hotspur fans are excited by what they’re hearing about Maxence Lacroix.
The French centre-back has emerged as a target for Spurs in recent days.
And Sky Sports in Germany have claimed that Tottenham’s managing director Fabio Paratici has identified him as a ‘dream signing’.
The Italian tried to sign the Wolfsburg powerhouse for Juventus in the past.
Here’s how some fans of the North London club reacted to that speculation:
Realistic signing
If we’re honest, Tottenham are linked to about a dozen players.
And until Paratici actually gets somebody over the line, the supporters will only grow more pessimistic and less trusting of transfer news.
Well, transfer news during the summer isn’t exactly something you’d put the mortgage on at the best of times.
But Lacroix does seem like a legitimate target and one who Paratici could genuinely sign.
He’s much more realistic than Jules Kounde, who seems destined for bigger and better things than Europa Conference League football next season.
