According to GiveMeSport, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy really wants Mauricio Pochettino as Antonio Conte’s potential replacement, but the club’s Managing Director of Football, Fabio Paratici, may not even have the Argentine manager at the top of his list.
Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici stance on Mauricio Pochettino as potential Tottenham manager
The report has claimed that Conte may not sign a new contract with Tottenham and could leave at the end of the season.
Spurs themselves could sack the Argentine before the end of the campaign and pay him a compensation fee of £5 million.
The report has added that “it is chairman Levy that is most supportive of a Pochettino return”, but “Pochettino may not even be one of the men at the top of” Paratici’s list.

Bring Poch back
In our view, if Antonio Conte does leave Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season, then it would not be a bad idea for the North London club to bring back Mauricio Pochettino.
After all, the Argentine was a big success during his first spell at Spurs.
Tottenham reached the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2019.
And they challenged for the Premier League title on occasions and also finished in the top four regularly under the former Paris Saint-Germain boss.
