Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting after Fabrizio Romano linked Moussa Sissoko with a move to Watford.
Spurs have plenty of players they need to shift out before the end of the transfer window, and Sissoko is certainly one who could be deemed surplus to requirements.
Indeed, Spurs have a remarkable amount of depth in the middle of the park with the likes of Oliver Skipp, Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Harry Winks, Dele Alli and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg capable of playing in that role.
Spurs fans are more than happy to see Sissoko move on as they will be able to save a hefty amount on his wages and it would also free up another non-homegrown spot in their squad.
At this point of the transfer window, outgoings can be just as important as incomings, and Spurs may be about to get rid of a player they’ve been needing to shift for quite some time.
