Papiss Cisse has left Newcastle United for Chinese club Shandong Luneng.

Papiss Cisse has taken to social networking site Twitter to send an emotional message to the Newcastle United fans.
Cisse has officially left Newcastle and joined Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng.
The 31-year-old striker has left the Magpies after four-and-a-half years at St. James’ Park.
The Senegal international did not always play well for Newcastle, but over the years he scored some brilliant and important goals. In 131 appearances for the Magpies, Cisse scored a total of 44 goals.

Cisse has taken to Twitter to make it clear that he will always be a fan of Newcastle.
The former SC Freiburg striker has also shared his hope that the Magpies return to the Premier League.
Newcastle will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

Cisse scored three goals and created 10 chances in 21 Premier League appearances for Newcastle last season.
During the 2014-15 campaign, the Senegal international scored 11 goals and created six chances in 22 league matches for the Magpies.
