A round-up of the latest transfer gossip from around Europe as West Ham United eye Jonathan Rowe and Leicester City react to interest in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s switch.
The cream of the crop in the Championship so far this season have started to attract interest from Premier League clubs. Rowe has lit up Norwich City’s attack as one of the second-tier’s top scorers. Dewsbury-Hall has also been instrumental for Leicester’s top-of-the-table term.
Only Leif Davis (12) and Adam Armstrong (11) have more assists than Dewsbury-Hall (9) this season so far. The midfielder even ranks 10th for goals with nine in 27 appearances. Rowe is the fifth-best goalscorer to help his Carrow Road natives compete for the play-off positions.

West Ham United are keen to agree a transfer from Norwich City for Jonathan Rowe, reports talkSPORT. The Irons are moving to secure a deal before the deadline with boss David Moyes seeing the 20-year-old as a top target. He has 12 goals in 27 Championship games this term.
But West Ham must raise funds before securing Rowe’s transfer, and Everton are showing an interest in Said Benrahma. Also per talkSPORT, the Toffees are looking to sign the Algerian in the final week of the window. Blues boss Sean Dyche is desperate to strengthen their attack.
Enzo Maresca left Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall out of Leicester City’s FA Cup tie with Birmingham City this Saturday amidst interest from Brighton and Brentford in his transfer, per Sky Sports. But the Foxes are loath to sell the midfielder and are now asking for at least £40m for a deal.
Brentford are also rivalling interest from Leeds United and Feyenoord in Burnley right-back, Connor Roberts. The Daily Mail notes the 28-year-old’s trio of suitors want an attack-minded defender. Brentford and Leeds also admire the 2025 free agent as he can play as a left-back.
RB Leipzig have informed Nottingham Forest that Peter Gulacsi is not for sale or available for a loan transfer. Florian Plettenberg reports the Bundesliga team refuse to let the 33-year-old leave in January. The goalkeeper can also envisage potentially staying in Saxony next term.
But Nottingham Forest are also exploring a deal for the former Leicester goalkeeper, Kasper Schmeichel. The Daily Mail notes the 37-year-old is open to leaving RSC Anderlecht. He also has a relatively cheap release clause. The Reds have even held talks with his representatives.

Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries is interested in a transfer to the Premier League, per Calciomercato. The 27-year-old has recently fallen out of favour at San Siro and his Serie A side are open to doing a deal. The Nerazzurri could even include Dumfries in a swap move.

Al-Shabab are also persisting with their interest in a transfer for Miguel Almiron, despite the midfielder not wanting to leave Newcastle United. The Daily Mail reports the Saudi team are pushing after holding talks with the Toon about a £17m move and have not lost any interest.
Lyon are now targeting the last-ditch transfer of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, reports Foot Mercato. Les Gones believe the 28-year-old could be a great addition as he speaks French and is a tireless ball-winner. But Spurs are yet to say they will let him go.
