A round-up of the latest transfer gossip from around Europe with West Ham United set to put Kalvin Phillips through his medical and Liverpool targeting a £38.5m transfer.

The Irons are set to win the race to sign Phillips on loan from Manchester City as he pushes to secure regular game time. Pep Guardiola has only fielded the 28-year-old for 89 minutes over four appearances in the Premier League this term. He has been fit for their 20 fixtures.

Phillips has further not featured in the top-flight since November 4. But he needs to secure regular game time to stand a chance of making England’s Euro 2024 squad. The 31-cap star would compete with Tomas Soucek, James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez with West Ham.
