A round-up of the latest transfer gossip from across Europe as Everton ace Amadou Onana studies a switch to Arsenal and Manchester United react to interest in a star.
The Gunners have explored a swoop for Onana in January with boss Mikel Arteta interested in adding to his engine room. But Arsenal could face a tricky pursuit of the Everton ace with financial fair play looming large. They, like many clubs, are having to work to a tight budget.
Everton are also working on a shoestring budget having fallen foul of the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules twice. The top-flight has charged the Toffees and Nottingham Forest with breaching the £105m limit for losses over a three-season period up to 2022/23.
