A round-up of the latest transfer gossip from around Europe as Bayern Munich plot their third offer for Kieran Trippier and Al-Nassr chase a raid on Manchester United.
Der FCB are intent on targeting Newcastle United vice-captain Trippier with Thomas Tuchel desperate to sign a new right-back. But the Magpies have so far thwarted Bayern Munich’s pursuit of the 33-year-old. Eddie Howe hopes to keep Trippier at St James’ Park this month.
Newcastle already have their natural replacement for Trippier after signing Tino Livramento last summer. But Howe hopes to fend off Tuchel’s advances having started Trippier in all 19 of his Premier League appearances this term. He has only failed to feature in two games yet.

West Ham United are now the firm favourites to sign FC Nordsjaelland star Ibrahim Osman in a £15m January transfer. The Evening Standard reports the Irons have moved to the front of the queue for the 19-year-old winger whom Brighton and Brentford have also had interest in.
Crystal Palace are in talks with Blackburn Rovers over a transfer for Adam Wharton, reports the Daily Mail. The England U20 midfielder has also faced interest from Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle’s scouts. But the Eagles have swooped now to try and seal a switch.
Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr have spoken to intermediaries about a transfer for Casemiro of Manchester United, per talkSPORT. But any move for the 31-year-old is more likely in the summer. Al-Nassr also want Aaron Wan-Bissaka but Manchester United do not want to sell.
Leeds United are interested in signing Ben Godfrey from Everton with a loan-to-buy transfer, claims TEAMtalk. But the 26-year-old is leaning toward a move abroad if he leaves the Blues this month. AC Milan are one team keeping tabs on his situation with Everton looking to sell.

Hull City have agreed a deal in principle to sign Ryan Giles on loan from Luton Town with the option to buy for £5m. Sky Sports reports that the two teams are now finalising the last part of the deal. The 23-year-old left-back has started five Premier League games this season.
