Injuries have prevented the American from playing for the Championship side, but the Tottenham academy product made the wait worthwhile yesterday.
Albeit against a League Two side, Bournemouth recorded a 4-1 win against Oldham to progress through to the next round of the FA Cup.
The Bournemouth supporters liked what they saw from Carter-Vickers, who will be hoping to finally settle in at a club after years of loans.
Carter-Vickers has gone from a highly-rated Spurs youngster to someone who has struggled to find his feet in England’s second-tier.
But the 23-year-old impressed and helped Luton survive in the Championship last season and has already had a great start to life at Dean Court, so he now has some momentum.
From his perspective, he will be hoping this is the start of a road to success because Tottenham fans themselves know that there is a high-quality player in there.
