The La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners are ready to sell the 26-year-old Spain international winger for €30-€35 million (£25.74-£30.03m), according to the report.
Corriere dello Sport has added that Milan legend and director Paolo Maldini personally wants to sign Asensio and has called Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti over signing him.
Maldini played under Ancelotti at AC Milan.

Arsenal could miss out on Marco Asensio
In our view, Arsenal and Manchester United could miss out on Real Madrid star Marco Asensio to AC Milan in the summer transfer window.
Yes, Arsenal and United are big clubs and are global brands, but so are Milan, who won the Serie A title this past season and will play in the Champions League in 2022-23.
Milan are back to being a force to be reckoned with again, and a move to San Siro could be very appealing to Asensio, who can also play as an attacking midfielder.
The Rossoneri are well positioned to win or at least challenge for major trophies now, Arsenal and United are not.
