Crystal Palace captain Luka Milivojevic has given his honest verdict on Norwich City ahead of the two Premier League sides locking horns on Saturday (official Eagles website).

The Canaries travel to Selhurst Park this weekend having had very mixed fortunes this season after promotion, with such results as the 3-1 win over Newcastle and shock 3-2 triumph over Manchester City tempered by results like the 2-0 loss to Burnley last time out.

Daniel Farke and his charges currently sit 16th in the Premier League table, while the Eagles are 12th in the standings, having picked up a point against Wolverhampton Wanderers – a game they were on the verge of winning but ended up drawing 1-1 due to Diogo Jota’s 95th-minute equaliser.

Milivojevic sympathised with Norwich regarding their inconsistent results and outlined what he expects from the Canaries tactically, before issuing a warning by saying they will do what they can to exploit the opposition’s weaknesses and “punish” them.

“[In this league] you beat [Manchester] City and then you lose to Burnley, that happened to us many times last season,” he told the Palace website.

“Every game is different, the styles of play are different. They are a team who love to play, love to build up from the back and love to have possession. We are going to try and do our best and to use their weaknesses to try and punish them.”

Palace go into Saturday’s encounter in strong home form, as they boast a six game unbeaten record at Selhurst Park, while Norwich have not recorded a win at the ground since 1996.
