Gabby Agbonlahor has called Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United duo, Richarlison and Antony, a ‘pair of bluffers’ for their most-recent performances.

Over the weekend, the duo locked horns with one another as Tottenham recorded a 2-0 win over Erik ten Hag’s struggling Manchester United.

But it seems as though, former Aston Villa man Agbonlahor wasn’t too impressed by what he saw from either Richarlison or Antony on the day, as he posted on Twitter.

For Tottenham’s club-record signing, he was on the winning side, so that spotlight of criticism might not be shining as brightly on him, even though he is yet to score this season.

The same can’t be said for his Brazil teammate, who has started Man United’s opening two games, but watched them score only one goal and be lucky to pick up three points.

Either way, Agbonlahor made his feelings clear on the duo.

“Antony and Richarlison, 55 premier league games and 5 goals between them?” said Agbonlahor. “Honestly, both a pair of bluffers!”

Pressure on Richarlison and Antony

You feel that if it doesn’t work for either of these players this season, then they can probably wave their careers at their respective clubs goodbye.

Whilst ten Hag brought Antony to Old Trafford, Ange Postecoglou didn’t sign Richarlison, so it would be easier to boot him out.

Yes, the duo aren’t scoring and it’s easy to beat them with that stick, but they aren’t affecting matches either, which is their biggest problem.
