Jamie O’Hara has put aside his Tottenham Hotspur loyalties and admitted that Arsenal’s acquisition of Gabriel Jesus of the best signing of the summer.

The Gunners spent £45 million on bringing the former Manchester City hitman to North London.

Much was made over Jesus’s questionable goalscoring record under Pep Guardiola but, so far, he looks devastating under Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal have won both of their Premier League games thus far and against Leicester City last week, the Brazilian really came alive in a massive way.

Jesus netted two and set up the other two in a 4-2 victory over Brendan Rodgers’s side.

And O’Hara, a former Tottenham player and diehard supporter, believes that his old club’s North London rivals have pulled off the best business this summer.

Well, two goals and two assists from two Premier League outings tells its own story.

Jesus has taken to life at Arsenal like a duck to water and it’ll hurt Tottenham even more because, well, they were reportedly in for him as well.

However, Arteta, having coached the player at the Etihad Stadium, has won – and what a player he has won.

This is someone who could potentially fire Arsenal back into the Champions League this season and longer term, who knows?

All we know is that he could be a devastating figure in the Gunners’ attack and O’Hara is right, possibly the biggest game-changer of a signing any English outfit has made.
