Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after Torcedores revealed that Pablo Mari is unhappy with his lack of playing time and wants to leave.
What’s the story?
Well, it seems as if the £14m man has grown tired of his role under Mikel Arteta, and wants to leave the Emirates Stadium.
Torcedores believe Flamengo are interested in signing the 28-year-old, and a loan deal could be in the pipeline for the Spaniard.
Mari has made just two Premier League appearances under Arteta this term, and was pushed further down the pecking order by the £50m signing of Ben White.
His last Premier League outing saw the centre-back bullied by Romelu Lukaku in a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea, in which Mari certainly didn’t cover himself in glory.
In total, the defender has only made 22 appearances for the Gunners.
Arsenal should let Pablo Mari leave

The north Londoners have plenty of options at centre-back, so it’s best to let Mari leave before he becomes a disruptive presence at London Colney.
Arteta can call upon Gabriel Magalhães, Calum Chambers and Rob Holding – along with White – as options in the centre-back department.
In our view, the signing of Mari was an abysmal one.
The Spaniard has contributed very little to the Gunners, and it was baffling to see a £14m deal agreed while he was injured.

Upon his return to full fitness, White was signed just months later, suggesting Arteta had no interest in making Mari a first-choice centre-back option.
Mari had done very little during his time on loan to warrant a permanent move to Arsenal, but Edu got a deal completed regardless.
Now, it’s looking like a huge blunder.
You could even argue that he’s been a worse signing than Willian.
For now, let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter think of the news…
