Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting to The Telegraph’s report claiming that the club may sell Joe Willock to Newcastle for £20m.
The report follows Steve Bruce’s comments about the player, stating that he’d love to sign him on a permanent basis.
The Telegraph claim that Arsenal are open to the idea of selling the young midfielder, and as you can imagine, Arsenal fans had plenty to say about this news.
Understandably, Gunners supporters weren’t best pleased with the idea of selling a talented academy product.
Willock has been shining out on loan at Newcastle, so you can understand why Arsenal supporters aren’t keen to cut ties with him.
The Gunners’ midfield is a weak spot as well with the likes of Dani Ceballos, Granit Xhaka and Mohamed Elneny having indifferent seasons for the London club, and even Thomas Partey hasn’t lived up to expectations.
Whether Willock is sold or not remains to be seen, but if he does go, it won’t go down well with the fanbase.
