Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to react after Bournemouth announced the signing of Morgan Rogers from Manchester City.
What’s the story?
Firstly, you might be wondering why this concerns Crystal Palace.
Well, it was said that Patrick Vieira’s side were in talks with the Citizens over a deal for Rogers earlier this summer.
However, it goes without saying that the south Londoners have now missed out.
Rogers has joined the Cherries on a season-long loan, although Scott Parker’s side have an option to make it permanent in 2022.
Aston Villa were also linked with the 19-year-old, who Manchester City paid £8m for when he was just 16.
Crystal Palace will regret missing out on Morgan Rogers to Bournemouth

In our view, the Eagles will regret missing out on Rogers.
Yes, you could argue against that fact by claiming he’s only a teenager without a Premier League appearance to his name.
However, Rogers is a seriously bright prospect, who would’ve suited what Vieira is trying to build at Selhurst Park.
The wonderkid helped Lincoln reach the League One play-off final last season with six goals in 28 appearances.

Rogers also won the EFL League One Young Player of the Month award back in March.
Furthermore, the forward scored a hat-trick as England beat Belgium on their way to lifting the Under-17 Syrenka Cup in 2018.
