Some Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the news that Thiago Silva will not play against Leeds United at Elland Road this weekend.
Chelsea will take on Leeds away from home at Elland Road in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The London club’s manager Thomas Tuchel has said today in a press conference that star central defender Silva will not feature against Marcelo Bielsa’s side due to injury.
Football.London quotes Tuchel as saying about Silva: “Thiago had a little setback in training. At the end of the training session the day before yesterday, he felt at the very end something around the same area that he injured. So we had to take him off. So he is back into the transition phase but not team training so he will be out.”
Some Chelsea fans are disappointed with the news, while others believe that there is nothing to worry about as Denmark international central defender Andreas Christensen is still available.
