Paddy Pimblett does not share the view that Arman Tsarukyan has been hard done by.

Even though he holds the top spot in the lightweight division, Tsarukyan has kept himself active with grappling competitions rather than MMA fights.

With an interim title fight already on the calendar for next month, it could be some time before the Armenian star gets his chance at a championship bout.

Tsarukyan has already said he will be ready to step in on January 24 if either of the UFC 324 headliners cannot make it.

But Paddy Pimblett, who is getting ready for his own first UFC title fight, does not seem to feel bad for Tsarukyan’s situation.

Paddy Pimblett says Arman Tsarukyan only has himself to blame for missed opportunities

Pimblett has taken aim at Tsarukyan after fans reacted to his absence from the interim lightweight title fight.

In that context, ‘The Baddy’ reiterated many of his previous statements during his recent Sky Sports interview.

He echoed Dana White’s stance that ‘Ahalkalakets’ still needs to rebuild his reputation, pointing to various issues that have kept him out of title contention.

Tsarukyan pulled out of UFC 311 in January and was also suspended for hitting a fan. Pimblett thinks these incidents are why the fighter only has himself to blame for missing out on opportunities.

The Briton even went as far as saying his rival is fortunate not to have been released by the promotion altogether given everything that has happened.

“Don’t be a spoiled little brat and you might end up getting in good graces. It’s his own fault lad. It’s his own family’s fault for letting him be a spoiled little baby his whole life.

“He’s lucky he still hasn’t been cut, never mind he’s not fighting for the belt. He’s lucky to still be on the roster,” ‘The Baddy’ stated.

Paddy Pimblett believes he will retire Justin Gaethje at UFC 324

Pimblett has no sympathy for ‘Ahalkalakets’ being left out of big fights, pointing out that the lightweight division is currently booked up with major match-ups.

But ‘The Baddy’ does not think everyone will still be in the mix after UFC 324.

Gaethje, who had already said he would retire if his next fight was not for a title, will stand across from Pimblett at UFC 324.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Briton expressed his belief that this would be Gaethje’s final bout, asserting that a loss would prevent him from making another run at the title.

“I feel bad saying it and I’ve said it already but I think I’m gonna retire him,” he said.
