This special group have players have achieved what the likes of David Silva, Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany never could, and while the Mancini/Pellegrini-era stars couldn’t achieve their European dreams, one man is still over the moon about City’s triumph tonight.
Indeed, Pablo Zabaleta has taken to social media to post his instant reaction after City reached their first ever Champions League Final.
Zabaleta is a bona fide City legend, so it’s great to see he still has a massive affinity for the club.
It’s a shame that Zabaleta could never achieve this feat in his playing days, but he’s played a massive part in the journey in terms of getting City where they are today.
The Argentine seems to be absolutely buzzing for the lads, with many of them being his former teammates.
