West Ham star featured in Carabao Cup victory.

Pablo Zabaleta reached a milestone as West Ham progressed to the next round of the Carabao Cup.
The Hammers beat Newport County 2-0 thanks to goals from Jack Wilshere and Pablo Fornals in each half.
Zabaleta was one of West Ham’s starters, and as he was keen to share with fans after the game, this was his 400th appearance in English football.
The Argentine signed for Manchester City back in 2008. He had a hugely successful time at The Etihad, winning two Premier League titles and one FA Cup.
He signed for West Ham in 2017, and after a tough start, he has improved his game again and is showing why he is one of the most underrated players of the past decade.
This was his first game of the season for the Hammers, at present the 34-year-old is being viewed as just a back up.
As fall back options go, Zabaleta is not bad at all, and he can still have a big role to play.
Can he make 500 appearances in English football? That might be a stretch too far, but you can’t totally rule it out, even if he has to step away from West Ham to do it.
