West Ham United defender Pablo Zabaleta has recently signed a new deal to keep him at the London Stadium.

Zabaleta has been with West Ham for two seasons and he has just extended his contract by another year.
The Argentine defender feels that West Ham are making good progress.
And he has sensed an up-turn in the way that West Ham fans are now feeling.
“Every season is better,” he said. “The last two seasons at London Stadium we’ve been in a relegation battle until the end of the season, so the atmosphere wasn’t as good, but this season I think we played some of the best football at home, especially when we beat Manchester United, Arsenal and some other big teams.
“It seems like the fans are so much happier now.”
West Ham managed to finish in 10th place in the Premier League table over the past campaign, and there are ambitions for them to improve even further in the coming years.

The Hammers have made no secret of their desire to compete for European football.
Pellegrini is expected to be handed a considerable transfer budget to spend in the summer as he looks to improve his squad, with West Ham looking to trouble the top seven.
