Celtic are reportedly interested in Sergio Quintero.

According to Ecuadorian news outlet El Diario, Celtic are interested in signing Quintero from Ecuadorian Serie A side Imbabura SC in the summer transfer window (click here to read more).
The 20-year-old defensive midfielder is playing for Ecuador at the Under-20 World Cup in Poland.
Sotalin – who now works as the Technical Director for the reserve team of Quito-based Ecuadorian Serie A club Sociedad Deportiva Auca and discovered Quintero playing in his home village of Urbina in Northern Ecuador, as reported by Football.London – has spoken highly of his compatriot.
Sotalin told Football.London about Quintero: “He is dealing with the pressure well and the Ecuadorian press are reporting that some of the country’s top clubs have shown and interest in signing him and other clubs outside of South America and in Europe.”
Sotalin added: “I have no doubt he will be successful. I think he would be a good signing [for Celtic].”

Oliver Burke winner
Meanwhile, Simon Donnelly has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to former Celtic loanee Oliver Burke scoring the winner for Scotland against Cyprus in European Championship Qualifying Group I on Saturday.
West Bromwich Albion winger Burke, who was deployed as a striker on occasions during his loan spell at Celtic during the second half of the season, scored the winner in Scotland’s 2-1 victory over Cyprus in the 89th minute.
